Earth Day Everyday

Our latest initiative,  FoPR proudly presents Earth Day Everyday. We aspire to share ways on how to live a low waste lifestyle, not just on Earth Day, but everyday.

Look for us at Friends of Pound Ridge and other local events with our Low Waste Pop-up – Water Refill Station, Compost Education Table, Compost Solutions, and Staffed Waste Stations. Our Water Refill Station has helped to keep thousands of single-use plastic bottles out of our local waste stream. Bring your refillable water bottle to fill it up or get a compostable cup of free water. At the same time, we will teach you about composting and local composting options to reduce your trash.

Join your community of fellow Pound Ridge residents and neighbors to start learning how you can make a positive impact. We come out on April 23 with the 2nd Annual Earth Day Everyday Festival, at Pound Ridge Square (11:00 – 3:00). And then keep an eye out for the FoPR Waste Stations. Part functional, part educational, all good! The FoPR Waste Stations will be a part of all FoPR events, and we hope for other local events, all in the near future. Let us show you how we create successful low waste events. Hope to see you around town! For more information visit our Earth Day Everyday website at
